Anderson Animal Hospital views pets as family members and therefore offers patients the highest level of care so that they can lead optimal lives. Dr. John Anderson has practiced veterinary medicine for three decades and opened Anderson Animal Hospital in 1986. He not only treats dogs and cats, but other small animals such as rabbits, rodents, birds and reptiles.

In August 2009, Anderson Animal Hospital became the first veterinary hospital in Metro Vancouver to operate a BC SPCA satellite adoption centre. SPCA shelters are becoming overcrowded with abandoned pets; this program helps place healthy kittens and cats into caring homes.
